    Daily visit opportunities include: 

    Admissions Presentation and Campus Tours 

    Best for high-school juniors, seniors, or potential transfer students who want to take a deeper dive into all Duquesne has to offer.

    • Regularly offered all weekdays at 10:00am
    • Additional times on Mondays and Fridays at 1:30pm and select Saturdays at 10:00am.
    • Your visit will include a 30-minute admissions presentation and student panel followed by a 60-minute campus walking tour led by a current student ambassador. Please allow 2 hours for your visit. 
    Looking for just a campus tour? We offer guided campus tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 2:00pm.


    School and Program-Specific Visits

    Looking for more specific DU information? Register for a visit with any of the schools or programs that might interest you! Schools & Programs may offer information sessions, class visits, or representative meetings.

    Information Sessions typically include a group presentation followed by a facility tour of the buildings, classrooms, or laboratories associated with your school/major.
    Class Visits are a sit-in on a lecture-style course for a realistic view of what it's like to be a Duquesne student.
    Representative Meetings are 1-on-1 meetings with a representative from your school or major and are best suited for juniors and seniors with specific questions regarding degree requirements, potential course offerings, application guidance, or post-grad opportunities in your field of study.

      Pirates Night: Presentation and Tour

      Attending a Pittsburgh Pirates game this summer? Join us from 3:30-5:30pm for an admissions presentation and campus tour before the first pitch! All registrants will be entered for a chance to win four Pittsburgh Pirates tickets for the game following the session and campus tour.The ticket giveaway winner will be selected 2-3 business days before the event. The recipient will be contacted via the phone number and email provided on their event registration.

      DUQ Day: Summer & Fall Open Houses

      • Join us for our Summer or Fall DUQ Day open houses!
      • Best for high school juniors and seniors, potential transfer and graduate students who want to spend a full day on campus, learning about all that Duquesne has to offer.
      • Our Summer DUQ Day is on July 13th. 
      • Our Fall DUQ Days are on September 28th and October 26th.
      What you can expect during DUQ Day:
      • Meet current students and representatives from our schools, Admissions, Financial Aid, Honors College, Pre-Law, Pre-Med, Pre-Health Professions, Diversity and Inclusion, Research, Study Abroad, and more.
      • Visit classrooms and labs where you'll receive a horizon-expanding education.
      • Experience sample classes (without quizzes!) taught by Duquesne teacher-scholars.
      • Visit the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, home of D1 Duquesne Athletics, including the A10 Champion Men's Basketball team.
      • Learn about majors, affordability resources, student clubs, and other areas that interest you.
      • Take a tour of our beautiful, park-like campus, situated next to downtown Pittsburgh.
