Get a head start

You can take a class, or classes, on campus! Focus on one topic, ease your schedule for fall, fulfill a requirement to plan for study abroad - there are many benefits to a summer start! Summer classes will be in an online or HyFlex format, allowing for alternating in-classroom and remote classes. There are 13 summer sessions, 3 to 12 weeks, starting in May and June.

Get to know your way around the University and downtown, including checking out some of the nearby summer festivals and markets!

There are also special opportunities for online one-credit classes, including Research and Information Skills, at a special rate of $650 for the class

Reduced tuition

All new 2021 freshmen pay the part-time tuition rate for summer. If you take minimum 12 credits (four 3-credit courses), you can get 50% off the tuition rate that runs through summer 2021.

Live on campus at no cost for housing

While you're taking classes, you can live in campus housing at no charge, just pay for the meal plan.

I understand that I will work with my academic advisor to determine which courses will align with my curriculum, interests and start term. By checking this box I give my academic advisor authorization to complete my summer registration for course/s by proxy. I understand that summer courses are billed at the summer part-time rate, including at 50% reduction for 12+ credits. I understand that the merit based awards I received cannot be applied to summer course work.
