Music Education Preview Day (Fall 2022)

    Interested in becoming a music teacher? This event is an opportunity to experience being a Music Education Major at Duquesne University for the day! 

    • Shadow current students while attending essential courses like Elementary General Music Methods, Brass Techniques, Group Piano, Musicianship, and Conducting.
    • Talk in person with Music Education Faculty and hear from current students about their experiences.
    • Grab lunch with our current students and tour campus.
    • Finish the day by sitting in on ensemble rehearsals.

    Activities run all day (8am – 4pm; additional rehearsals until 8pm), but participation in the entire day is not required. Take in as much of the experience as your personal schedule will allow.
