    On-Campus Visits: Undergraduate Office of Admissions

    Weekday Daytime Visits 
    (Monday-Friday)

    Our most robust and personalized visits occur on weekdays, with the ability to build a custom visit to suit your personal needs and goals.  Use the calendar tool to select a date, then select "Undergraduate Campus Visit" to access the "Build-Your-Own" form.

    Opportunities include: 

    Admissions Presentation and Campus Tours 

    Best for high-school juniors, seniors, or potential transfer students who want to take a deeper dive into all Duquesne has to offer.

    • Regularly offered all weekdays at 10:00am and 2:00pm

    • Additional times on Mondays and Fridays at 12:00pm and select Saturdays at 10:00am.

    • Your visit will include a 30-minute admissions presentation and student panel followed by a 60-minute campus walking tour led by a current student ambassador. Please allow 2 hours for your visit. 

    Meet with an Admissions Counselor

    Available for current high school juniors and seniors on weekdays at 11:45am, 1:45pm, or 3:45pm.
    Additional appointments are available for prospective or admitted transfer students on Mondays and Fridays at 11:45am and 3:45pm.

    School and Program-Specific Visits

    Looking for more specific DU information? Register for a visit with any of the schools or programs that might interest you! Schools & Programs may offer information sessions, class visits, or representative meetings.

    Information Sessions typically include a group presentation followed by a facility tour of the buildings, classrooms, or laboratories associated with your school/major.
    Class Visits are a sit-in on a lecture-style course for a realistic view of what it's like to be a Duquesne student.
    Representative or Faculty Meetings are 1-on-1 meetings with a representative from your school or major and are best suited for juniors and seniors with specific questions regarding degree requirements, potential course offerings, application guidance, or post-grad opportunities in your field of study. 

    • College of Liberal Arts - representative meetings available select Mondays, Tuesdays, & Fridays

    School of Health Sciences - representative meetings available select Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays
     

    • Physician Assistant Studies information sessions available on Friday, July 17 and Friday, August 14
    • Department of Occupational Therapy Facility Tours available select Fridays

    • Department of Speech-Language Pathology Facility Tours available select Mondays & Fridays

    • Athletic Training Program Faculty Meetings available select weekdays

    • Public Health and Health Administration Faculty Meetings available select weekdays

    • Discover Health Sciences Program Faculty Meeting (Undecided Health Sciences) available select weekdays

    • School of Science and Engineering- representative meetings available select Fridays

    • School of Education- representative meetings available Monday through Friday

    Bridge to Duquesne

    Are you ready to take the next step in your college journey? Bridge to Duquesne is your introduction to life at Duquesne University, designed specifically for transfer students like you.

    • Hear from a member of our Transfer Admissions Team and discover more about Duquesne's academic programs, support services, and student life.

    • Take a guided campus tour and explore our scenic campus on the Bluff overlooking downtown Pittsburgh.

    • A credit evaluation may be available following your tour - reach out to us for more information.

    Whether you're transferring from a two-year college or making a change from another university, this session will help you cross the bridge and feel at home on the Bluff. Complimentary parking is provided.

    • Meet representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, our academic schools, and student services to hear about next steps.

    • Meet current students and representatives from our schools, Admissions, Financial Aid, Honors College, Pre-Law, Pre-Med, Pre-Health Professions, Research, Study Abroad, and more.

    • Visit classrooms and labs where you'll receive a horizon-expanding education.

    • Experience sample classes (without quizzes!) taught by Duquesne teacher-scholars.

    • Visit the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, home of D1 Duquesne Athletics, including the A10 Champion Men's Basketball team.

    • Learn about majors, affordability resources, student clubs, and other areas that interest you.

    • Take a tour of our beautiful, park-like campus, situated next to downtown Pittsburgh.
